Are you passionate about libraries, lifelong learning, and making a difference in your community? Bristol Library is seeking community members interested in serving on our Board of Trustees.

Serving on the Library Board is an opportunity to help shape the future of the library and ensure that it continues to meet the changing needs of Bristol and the surrounding community. Board members help provide guidance and oversight for the library, participate in planning for its future, support responsible stewardship of library resources, and advocate for the programs, collections, technology, and services that make the library an important community resource.

We welcome people who bring different experiences, skills, perspectives, and ideas. You do not need to be a librarian or have previous library experience to be considered. We are looking for people who care about their community, believe in access to information and lifelong learning, and are willing to contribute their time and ideas to helping Bristol Library grow and thrive.

Board service is a wonderful way to become more involved in your community, learn more about how your local library operates, and have a meaningful voice in its future. Whether your interests are in education, community service, technology, finance, local history, fundraising, programming, communications, or simply supporting a strong public library, we encourage you to consider applying.
