Fall & Winter Birds: A Program with Maria Ramos

Discover the fascinating birds that call our area home during the fall and winter months! Join local bird enthusiast Maria Ramos at the Bristol Library for an engaging program exploring the seasonal birds we see in our backyards, neighborhoods, fields, and forests.

As the seasons change, so do our local bird populations. Some familiar birds remain with us throughout the winter, while others migrate through our region on their way to warmer destinations. Maria will introduce participants to some of these migratory and winter resident birds, share helpful tips for identifying them, and talk about the behaviors that help birds survive during the colder months.

Participants will also learn practical bird-watching tips for every season, including what to look and listen for when trying to identify different species. Maria will discuss simple ways we can support local birds and make our yards and outdoor spaces more bird-friendly throughout the fall and winter.

Whether you're an experienced bird watcher, a backyard nature enthusiast, or simply curious about the birds you see outside your window, this program offers a wonderful

opportunity to learn more about our local wildlife.
