Reminder:  Library will be  closed Saturday May 29th and Monday May 31st in honor of Memorial Day.

Caution:  Tape Galore!

Our project to increase safety and security at the library is moving right along!  On May 18th, our sidewalk with the trip hazard was repaired and the footers for our parking lights were poured.

Let the work begin!                              Brian and Fred hard at work!               Paul overseeing the 1st footer.

We appreciate your continued use of the library during this project. We know it can be inconvenient and even messy, but when this is all done, it will be so worth it!  The sidewalk will be open for direct access when we open on Wednesday, May 19th and we anticipate we’ll have our new lighting installed and operational by the beginning of June.

Kimberley Ferguson,   on display May 3rd - June 30

An Invitation to Serve Your Library

The Bristol Library depends on citizen involvement

to ensure that its services are as reflective of the community needs as possible. The Bristol Library Board of Trustees is a seven member board with membership appointed by said Board to three- year terms. The Board meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 7pm. Meetings are virtual until we are able to meet again in person at the library. As a policy-making body, the Board of Trustees guides the development of library services. Effective trustees bring to the library knowledge of the community, a commitment to the rights of citizens to information,

and willingness to continually maintain and strengthen library services.

If you are interested in serving on the Library Board, please send an inquiry and brief resume to the email below. This expression of interest will make your name available for consideration but will not, of course, guarantee appointment. For more information, please contact our  Library Manager, Kimberlee Petrino, at 585-229-5862 or email her at
